FOCUS SCRIPTURE: Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God who saves me. Psalm 25:5 (NLT)

ENCOURAGEMENT: If we aren’t careful in this day and time, we’ll allow our mind to be infiltrated, saturated and dominated with negative, “what if” scenarios. This kind of thinking leads us to fear, worry and anxiety. So, let’s not focus on the negative “what ifs”, instead, let’s focus on what is TRUE.

What is true is that God is in control and He will never leave or forsake us. What is true is the God will lead us in His truth. What is true is that God is faithful. What is true is that in spite of the challenges, God has still blessed and extended His grace and mercy to us.

The presence of God doesn’t always eliminate pain, His presence in our lives makes it more bearable. God speaks truth; He is truth. Don’t ever forget this truth.

God’s Word is the truth and we have to tuck it away in our hearts through daily mediation, prayer, readings, and talking to others who are in Christ.

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for the gift of life today. Father, lead us in Your truth and help us to seek truth each day. Teach us that in truth there is wisdom and understanding, and dear God, may seeking Your truth help us overcome our fears and frustrations. Lord, You, created truth; You are truth; help us to know Your truth when we see it; learn truth when we are taught it; and live truth each day. Father God, seal Your truth in our hearts so that we live honestly and courageously, love wholeheartedly and unconditionally. It is in Jesus name we pray.

REFLECTION: Be determined to focus on what is TRUE rather than the negative “what if” scenarios that might creep into your thoughts; rein in your power and let TRUTH reign in your heart, no matter what.
