Debutantes 4 Christ

The Beginning

Many years ago, God gave Minister Donnella Cranford, the founder of Women After God's Own Heart Ministry, Inc. (WAGOH), a desire to mentor teen girls. This desire became a reality in 2001 through the establishment of Debutantes 4 Christ (D4C), a program of WAGOH. In 2003, D4C proudly graduated its first class of 13 Debutantes.

The Mission

To mirror the characteristics of Christ

The Vision

For teen girls to become “Women After God’s Own Heart”

  • To promote  and develop teen girls in the knowledge and understanding of God's grace, mercy, and love.

  • To inspire teen girls to live Christ-centered lives, thus becoming a role models for their peers, families, communities, and the world.

  • To foster Christian sisterhood that crosses all ages, races, denominations, and cultures.

Blessings from God

Testimonies from Former Debutantes

I am thankful to have been a part of something a lot of girls are not able to do. I feel like I have grown in many areas in my life. I have the guidance to guide me through the dark roads. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to this experience, especially my Accountability Coaches Yolanda Briggs-Johnson and Ayesha Doyle. I hope every Debutante 4 Christ has taken something from this experience as I did.

Debutante Brandice Horne

During my participation in Debutantes 4 Christ, I have learned more about Jesus Christ and the responsibilities I have being a Christian teenager. After I complete this program I hope to become involved in Christian programs for girls, similar to this one. I want to make sure girls my age can have the same experiences I've had in this program. The D4C program has meant so much to me and I am so thankful for the Women After God's Own Heart Ministry, especially my Accountability Coach, Tangela Johnson and the founder, Minister Donnella Cranford.

Debutante Bethany White

Hello, my name is Jairea Michelle McClamb. I am glad to be a member of the second class for Debutantes 4 Christ. It has been a very rewarding experience. Before joining Debutantes 4 Christ, I could feel that my relationship with God was not where it should have been. I knew I needed to do something. I did not think a program like this would be what I needed, but it was. I am glad I joined. My parents told me about it just in time. It has been a fun experience as well as a rewarding experience! I feel I've gotten even closer to God. I attribute this growth to our Bible studies, group discussions, and activities. This experience has made me realize that my relationship with God is important and that He loves and cares for me very much.I have even made friends with wonderful girls who also feel this way! Do I recommend Debutants for Christ? I certainly do, and for any girl that wants to develop a relationship with the Lord, and take a walk with Jesus just like I did!!

I have even made friends with wonderful girls who also feel this way! Do I recommend Debutants for Christ? I certainly do, and for any girl that wants to develop a relationship with the Lord, and take a walk with Jesus just like I did!!I am Eleah Yolanda McClamb, and I am glad to have been a part of this special program. I'd also like to thank my parents for their gentle coercion for me to join and to complete the program. Being in Debutants has really opened my heart, my mind, and my soul. It has allowed me to step outside of myself, and take a good look at me inside. I have discovered, and feel that God has revealed to me about me are: to have more faith in Him, myself, and finally my fellow man. My love for God is genuine. I am learning about his power everyday. I see Him as my friend, my father, and everything I need. But I want my faith in Him to be so strong, and generous, that any believer could see it. This is my hope and my prayer. Every night in my prayers, I'll continue to count my blessings and to value my relationship with God and ask that he continues to bless me with health, love, and peace. All praises to God, through Christ Jesus.
