Get It Straight in 2008 
Happy 10th Anniversary WAGOH!!!
As We Continue the Glory Move we want to get things straight in 2008. Each of us have something in our life that we need to work on and in 2008 we will get it straight.
Isaiah 40:3-5 tells us to listen and hear the voice of someone shouting: make a straight, smooth road through the desert for our God. Fill the valleys and level the hills. Straighten out the curves and smooth off the rough spots. Then the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and the people will see it together.
What are some things you’d like to get straight in 2008? Examine yourself, pray for the leading of the Holy Spirit and get it straight in 2008. Straighten out the curves and smooth off the rough spots and see the glory of the Lord revealed to you.
List the things you want to get straight in 2008 on an index card. Put them in categories and choose two or three items you want to work on getting straight in 2008.
Example:
SPIRITUAL-spending more quite time with the Lord
PHYSICAL-change my eating habits and exercise more each day
MENTAL-change how I think because it causes stress and sickness
What does it require for us to get things straight in 2008?
DISCIPLINE!!!
It is with discipline that we become more aware of the divine nature we share with Christ. A disciple is one who learns. Discipline is the process by which one learns, a way of life. In essence, discipleship is about a relationship...your relationship with Jesus Christ and with other disciples. It requires effort and sacrifice. So for all the things we want to get straight in 2008, we have to remember that we must remain in constant prayer because becoming discipline is not always easy. At times you will feel weary but decide right now to press on knowing that everything will be alright because we can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens us.
